Rapidly Rotating Records Show – January 15, 2017

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can't *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and'30s.

This will be the last brand new edition of Rapidly Rotating Records for at least a couple of weeks. Tomorrow morning I report to the hospital to trade in my old, decrepit right hip for a brand new, shiny bionic hip. I'm told I won't be climbing stairs for a couple of weeks and unfortunately, the studio is upstairs, so until I'm bounding up and down, we'll reach into the vault for some previous shows. They'll be new to many of you, however. And even if you've h eard them before, it will have been a while and they're worth another listen. So with thanks and best wishes to my surgeon, her staff and the nurses and staff of San Antonion Regional Hospital, this week's is not "Orthophonic," but "orthopedic" with rapidly rotating records about hips, knees, bones, skeletons, fingers, feet and joints.

RRR is also available as a podcast on iTunes. Simply enter Rapidly Rotating Records in the iTunes search box and a link to the show will appear.
