RRR 78RPM Show – May 24, 2015

Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.

On this week's brand new edition of the show, we're going to do some toddlin', we'll look for some answers, take out some insurance and celebrate some birthdays. The final segment of the show is a special segment for Memorial Day, featuring two records by the Shannon Quartet.  The last record on this week's show is not a "toe-tapping tune" but helps illustrate the meaning of Memorial Day. I hope it adds to your observance of the holiday. Once again, a number of records on this edition of the show are making their RRR debut.  As always, just click on the link below to listen streaming online and/or download the show. Your comments, requests and topic suggestions are always welcome.  What is your favorite record on this week's show??

With best wishes for a pleasant and meaningful Memorial Day, I hope you enjoy the show!
