Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – April 29, 2012

This week’s show was originally broadcast on April 29, 2007. But, if you weren’t listening to the show back then, it’s new to you. And even if you were around back then, that was 5 years ago, so it will seem like it’s brand new. On this week’s show we celebrate the birthdays of Rube Bloom, Duke Ellington, Jimmie Noone, Michael H. Cleary and listen to this past week in recording history. The link to the show below should start playing the show immediately through the built-in WPAudio player. With WordPress, it’s simple to post comments about the show (be nice, now!), requests, suggestions, etc. Why not post what your favorite record is this week. Thanks!  And, by the way, since this show was recorded, I’ve come to find out that Rube Bloom’s first name is pronounced like “Ruby”, or at least that’s what his friends called him.
