RRR Show – July 27, 2014

Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.

This week is a very special edition of RRR, since it's our FOURTEENTH ANNIVERSARY SHOW!  We debuted on KISL in late July of 2000 and have been on the air ever since, becoming KISL's longest running show. In addition to playing "fourteen" records, I hope you'll indulge me as I offer a tribute to my father, Lt. Col. Frank B. Robison, who passed away on July 9.

As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show. And your comments, topic suggestions and requests are always welcome. Enjoy!

My condolences on your father’s passing, Glenn, and thank you for your tribute to him. He helped make the “greatest generation” great. He was fortunate to have had a long and fruitful life, something he richly earned.
