RRR Show – June 8, 2014

Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.

This week's show was originally broadcast exactly six years ago on June 8, 2008. Some of you will have heard the show when it first aired, but for many of you it will be new. And besides, even if you heard it before, that was six long years ago, and, if I do say so myself, it's a pretty good show and worth hearing again! We'll celebrate the birthdays of Ted Lewis, Percival Mackey and Bert Lown, hear a sermon from the Rev. J. M. Gates and listen to this past week in recording history. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show. And your comments, topic suggestions and requests are always welcome. Enjoy!
