Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.
Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Show – May 1, 2016
This week's show spotlights a couple of special events, one which has already taken place, and one that hasn't. The first segment is to promote the upcoming Catalina Island Chili Cookoff which takes place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11-6 at South Beach, Avalon. The second event was the dedication of "The Wall" at Churchill's Pub & Grille in San Marcos, California. For the other three segments in the show, we go from "good" to "better" to "BEST!" My favorite record on this week's show is "Good Feelin' Blues by the Kansas City Tinroof Stompers. Let us know what your favorite record is by posting a comment to the website or to our Facebook page.
