Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records’
TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY SHOW!
Rapidly Rotating Records premiered on KISL on Sunday, July 23, 2000 and we’ve been bringing you “vintage music to which you can’t NOT tap your toes” from “rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and 30s ever since. We had hoped to have a big party and live show direct from the massive KISL studio complex in Avalon, but Covid 19 took care of that! No matter. Regardless of how or how long you’ve heard the show, thank you very much for listening! On this week’s show we’ll be celebrating Harry Horlick’s birthday, but the rest of the show will consist of “twenty” records. That is, records in some way having to do with the number twenty. Six of them will be in two “One Thing in Common” segments.
