Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
This week’s show is a bit different from our usual lineup of dance bands, hot bands, novelty tunes, blues and jazz. In order to show support for the people of Ukraine, tonight’s show will consist entirely of records having to do with Ukraine, but there will still be some toe-tapping tunes and some interesting information. We’ll be playing the records one at a time rather than in segments.
ENJOY THE SHOW!
Here’s the complete playlist:
Viut Vitre – Igor Gorin
Rojkova – Trembita Ukrainian Orchestra

An absolutely marvelous program. I love the dance bands and novelties and show tunes, but there was so much more recorded on rapidly rotating records that needs to be preserved and shared. Thank you for this amazing music and the ever so timely cultural information.
