Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
Do you know who this fellow is? He was known as “Amou Haji” and died last October at the age of 94. You’ll find out all about him in the final segment of this week’s show, all about bathing! There are birthday segments this week for Carl Albert Hermann Teike and David Medoff. As Fats Waller says, “It’s A Sin To Tell A Lie” and the third segment of the show is all about lies and lying liars! My dad was fond of referring to milk as “moo juice” and the fourth segment is all about milk. There’s lots of great music and interesting information (perhaps a little too much information in the case of Amou Haji!) so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to an earlier–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to instantly listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.
THANKS FOR LISTENING!
ENJOY THE SHOW!
