Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this fellow is? He’s bandleader Umberto Egizi, a mainstay of the Pittsburgh music scene for decades. You’ll hear one of his recordings and hear about his passion for theatrical music in the fourth segment of this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. In other segments, we’ll do some spring cleaning, celebrate Herbert Spencer’s birthday, have a segment for no particular reason and welcome the month of June.
