Welcome to a “Halley, Halley and Halley” edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. In addition to William J. Halley’s birthday, we’ll be celebrating Seymour Simons’ birthday. Pictured above is one of the records you’ll be hearing his segment. The Jazz-O-Harmonists was a pseudonym for Louis Katzman and His Orchestra. To start off the show we’ll be shining our shoes, and there’s also a “seventeen” segment. Vocalist Will Halley is not to be confused with composer Bill Halley, so he also has a segment on this week’s show.
