Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
Last year had a segment featuring Mickey Guy, but not because he was having a birthday. This year he gets his own birthday segment in which you’ll find out the significance of the poster above. In other segments, we’ll quit (not really!), hear some songs about the morning, take a ride in a gondola and have a vocabulary lesson. There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be taken back to an earlier–and we think better-musical era. Just click on the player above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
