Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.
We have just one birthday salute on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records, that of Joe Garland, composer of “In The Mood.” You’ll hear the premiere recording of the tune in the first segment of the show, along with a couple of other Garland tunes. In other segments, we’ll go down the river, play “One Thing In Common” and in the last two segments of the show, lay it all on the line. There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.
ENJOY THE SHOW!
