Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – December 12, 2021

Charles Magnante Accordionist

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this fellow is?  I know my friend, accordionist Matt Tolentino does! He’s Charles Magnante and he gets his very own birthday salute for the first time on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. His is one of FIVE birthday salutes this week, four of them for the first time. The others are Jay Gorney, Sid Millward, Willie Eckstein and Jack Purvis. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported magically back to a different–and we think better–musical era. But most important…

ENJOY THE SHOW!

Your comments, questions and topic suggestions are always wecome and can be left here, on the show’s Facebook page or via email to glenn at rapidly rotating records dot com. If you enjoy the show, please those of your friends who you think would also like this music know.
