Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – January 16, 2022

Evelyn Hiller and Joe Hiller

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this lovely couple is? They are Evelyn Silverman Hiller and Joe Hiller and they were both songwriters. You’ll hear all about them and hear examples of their work in the first segment of this week’s edition of the show. We’ll also be celebrating Peggy Cochrane’s birthday. In other segments we’ll be doing some hangin’ around, like Jiminy Cricket we’ll give a little whistle and like Dr. Sheldon Cooper, we’ll have some fun with flags.  There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different (and we think better!) musical era.

ENJOY THE SHOW!
