Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – Sept. 4, 2022

Eric Coates

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this fellow is?  He’s Eric Coates, British composer of light music and his tune “Calling All Workers” will end the Labor Day segment and this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. In other segments, we’ll celebrate Harry Bidgood’s birthday, ask some tough questions and play “One Thing in Common.”  There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.

ENJOY THE SHOW!

For the past few weeks I’ve noticed that the playlist for the last segment is overridden by the bold comment invitation. Can that be corrected?
