15! That's the number of years Rapidly Rotating Records has been on the air on KISL.
Welcome to the 15th Anniversary Show!
Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records," Glenn Robison's weekly, one hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.
For the past 14 years, on each anniversary show I've been able to have at least one segment of records reflecting the number anniversary of the show. For example, on the third anniversary show, all of the records had "three" in the title, such as "Three Little Fishies" and "Three Little Words." But I couldn't come up with any "15" songs for this anniversary show. Well, no matter. We have a great lineup of records anyway. We're going to come out swinging, check our vision, play some records about cows, we'll hear from some Nashes and take a musical trip to Shanghai. Once again, a number of records on this edition of the show are making their RRR debut. As always, just click on the link below to listen streaming online and/or download the show. Your comments, requests and topic suggestions are always welcome. What is your favorite record on this week's show??
Enjoy the show!
