RRR 78RPM Show – 17 June 2018

Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Logo

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

“I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken!” We do like to be accurate with the information we include along with the music on this show so this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records starts off with corrections to several things I said on last week’s show. With that out of the way, we move on by taking a stroll. We’ll then celebrate the birthdays of Charles Kaley and the state of Arkansas and finish up with another episode of “One Thing in Common.” The four songs in the final segment of the show seemingly have nothing whatsoever to do with each other, but yet they have one thing in common. Don’t spend a lot of energy trying to figure out what it is, just enjoy the music because I’ll let you in on the common denominator at the end of the set. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com.  And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.

Enjoy the show!
