Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.
Last week I had to go to court to answer a summons for jury service. Although I was eventually dismissed without being empaneled, it involved a lot of sitting around and waiting. Since misery loves company, for the second segment of the show, you can join me in court. In the first segment of the show we’ll hear some songs about “that man.” I don’t know who “that man” is, but we’ll hear some songs about him! In the third segment we’ll build up some speed and in the fourth we’ll go streaking! In the final segment we’ll hear from Billy Murray and Walter Scanlan on a “special” record. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com. And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.
Enjoy the show!
