Glad you played one of my all-time favorites, Tom Lehrer. Have all of his CDs and manyh recordings off the Dr. Demento show. Bring him back!
One of my prized possessions is the Tom Lehrer songbook “Too Many Songs by Tom Lehrer with not enough drawings by Ronald Searle.” A true treasure. Tom is so fast with the lyrics to the Elements that I couldn’t even follow along.

Thank you, Tim! I’m glad you enjoyed the show. You probably shouldn’t hold your breath for more of Tom, at least on RRR. This was pretty much a one-off to fulfill a request from a special friend of the show. The two segments worked out well, I think. “Somewhere” around here I too have a copy of “Too Many Songs…” as well as the sheet music to “The Elements.”
