Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can't *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and'30s.
Rapidly Rotating Records Show – December 4, 2016
This week it's a SPECIAL EDITION of RRR as we welcome Barbara Effros as a guest on the show. As many of you will know, Barbara is the granddaughter of jazz trumpeter and composer Bob Effros and tonight's entire show is a celebration of Bob's birthday, which is this coming Tuesday, December 6. Barbara shares some interesting details about the life and career of the man she affectionately calls "Grandpa Bob." And, we'll actually hear from Grandpa Bob himself through a recording of a 1979 interview. And of course, there'll lots of great toe-tapping music.
