Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records", Glenn Robison's weekly, one-hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.
This week, it's a special 2 HOUR edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. If you missed the live show, direct from KISL last Sunday evening, below are links to the "studio" version of the show. For your convenience, I have split the show into two separate files. We're going to get cuckoo, hear about some strangers, celebrate the admission of Tennessee to the Union, and celebrate the birthdays of Howard Johnson, Ben Bernie, Saxie Dowell and Frank Trumbauer. As always, click on the links below to listen streaming online, and/or download.

THANK YOU! I hit the Ben Bernie lottery. Thanks a lot.
I missed it. 6 pm Sunday PDT is 2 am Monday British Summer Time. Will it be available for streaming/download?
By the way – Sunday 16th June 2013 will be the 51st anniversary of the death of Cyril Ramon Newton (of Savoy, London fame), would lived the last decade or so of his life as a laboratory technician at a cancer research institute in Withington, Manchester (in the north of England).
Oooops!
“would lived the last decade . . . ” should have been
“who lived the last decade . . . . .”
A wonderful programme. Thanks Glenn.
